About Our Osteopaths
Dr Anthony Furney is passionate about understanding pain, human movement, and psychology. His treatments focus on helping patients modify their symptoms to build a more robust body and mind. In a nutshell, he calms things down to help build things back up. Anthony enjoys working with people to achieve their goals—whether it’s a walk to the shops without pain or finishing a marathon. No goal is too small if it has meaning for his patients.
As a boxing and running enthusiast, Anthony has firsthand experience with pain and injury, both personally and professionally. He stays updated with the latest research in physical health to offer his patients a contemporary, evidence-based path to recovery.
Dr Jenelle Tupek is originally from Melbourne and began her career in human mechanics through early qualifications as a Pilates instructor, sports trainer, and massage therapist. She later expanded her academic foundation by completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Victoria University in 2013. Drawn to the broader clinical insights of Osteopathy, she pursued a five-year program at Southern Cross University, culminating in a Master’s degree in 2020. Her thesis ignited a strong interest in mental health, trauma, and concussion management—areas she continues to explore through ongoing study and professional development.
Jenelle adopts a holistic and evidence-informed approach to care, integrating Osteopathic techniques with:
Myofascial Cupping and Dry Needling
Therapeutic Electrostatic Oscillation (TEO)
Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (SIPC)
Mindfulness and Breathwork
A modern approach
Anthony has completed a Master of Osteopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences (Osteopathic Studies), a Diploma of Remedial Massage as well as multiple physical rehabilitation, dry needling, and pain science post graduate courses.
Outside of clinical practice, she maintains a diverse movement background, regularly engaging in yoga, martial arts, and ocean swims.
Her long-standing fascination with the life sciences has inspired her to explore how biology, psychology, sociology, and technology intersect to shape human health. She pursues this interest through her postgraduate studies in Mental Health and Neuroscience, where she focuses particularly on how fascia adapts to stress and trauma. In addition to her clinical practice, Jenelle also works in a consulting capacity, advising on the use of medical devices for vascular and orthopaedic conditions.
